Ken Alexander, CBAP

Ken is a Senior IT Business Analyst for the City of Fort Worth where he conducts technical planning, business requirements elicitation and IT project development for departments within the City of Fort Worth.

He has 20+ years of IT experience encompassing various roles such as Computer Operator, Programmer Analyst, Senior Programmer Analyst, Lead Programmer Analyst, Project Manager, and Senior Business Analyst. His experience comprises industries such as Financial (Transportation POS Authorization and Fuel Management, ATM Debit  Card processing, Credit Control Processing, Accounts Receivable);  Banking (Installment Loans Processing); Telecommunications (Switch Processing, Billing ); Food Distribution (Vendor Management, Order Processing, Warehouse Product Labeling); Municipal Government (Water, Transportation and Public Works, Engineering, Planning and Development, and Human Resources).

Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in MIS from Dallas Baptist University and an MBA in Information Systems from Western Governors University. He has also achieved his Certified Business Analyst (CBA) certificate via George Washington University and ESI International, and has attained his Certified Professional Business Analysis (CBAP) certification via the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).

Ken currently serves as the President of the local Fort Chapter IIBA and as the Regional Deputy VP of the IIBA US Central Region Forum.

Gregg Heinzman began his career as a programmer in 1981, he later became a Business Analyst in 1994.
After 23 years with TXU and 7 years at First Command. Gregg is currently working at the City of Fort Worth.
Gregg earned his CBAP® designation in 2010 and re-certified in 2013.


Jill House

Jill House has been a Business Analyst since 1991. Over the past 24 years, she has held other analyst related positions including Project Manager, Business Information Specialist, SQL Developer, Internal auditor and Product Manager. However, Jill always seem to return to Business Analyst work which she prefers above the other positions.

Most of Jill's employers have been in the financial services industry including Property & Casualty Insurance companies, Managing General Agency, Life/Disability Insurance companies, High Risk banking & loans, Commercial and Personal banking, Personal Finance Planning (focusing on building for retirement & life events), Personal Trusts/Estates and Brokerage (stock) trading.

Jill has worked for companies who interact with clients through many approaches from physically seeing every client/customer to companies who operate exclusively via internet and call center with no face to face interaction.

Currently, Jill is a Sr. Business Analyst with her current employer, First Command, (11/2012 - current). While at First Command, Jill has been involved in a variety of projects including: Creation and implementation Master Data module using Informatica tools, implementation of MS Dynamics (CRM), Legacy system decommissioning and creation of a Data Warehouse.


Jessica Southwick, CBAP

Jessica Southwick is an IT professional with vast experience in business analysis, project management, solution concept design and development, issue resolution, software quality assurance, testing, conducting user trainings, and facilitating meetings. She joined Tarrant County Information Technology Department as Senior Business Analyst in 2013 and became a Senior Project Manager in 2014. Jessica is responsible for migrating over one hundred websites to a new platform for Tarrant County. Prior to joining Tarrant County, she worked for Maricopa County, Arizona as Business Systems Analyst for seven years. Business analysis is Jessica’s passion as demonstrated by earning her CBAP certification in April 2015. She has been an active member of IIBA Fort Worth Chapter since 2013 and the VP of Professional Development for 2015-2016. Jessica has also joined the PMI Fort Worth Chapter recently.

Victoria Lee

  Victoria Lee is a seasoned business lady with focus on requirements analysis and customer relations within the IT sector. She currently works for Business Ink, Co. as a Senior Project Analyst. Her responsibilities for on-boarding new customers and managing change requests require frequent trips to Fort Worth, as well as the other company locations both east and west coast.

Prior to Business Ink, Victoria was a Senior Systems Analyst for MAXIMUS and Business Analyst for Electronic Data Systems (EDS).

Victoria is actively studying for the IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) exam.

Lynn Lang

  Lynn Lang has over 20 years of IT experience, specializing in bringing both BA and PM best practices to organizations

Managed the BA and PM Practice teams at Allianz, Hyland, and more recently at Lockheed Martin providing practice leadership, training and development and mentorship programs

Experience spans PM, BA, Development  and QA roles the Insurance, Financial, Technology-BPM, and Defense Industries

- Active, long term member of both IIBA and PMI
- Currently serve on the Advisory Board to the IIBA Fort Worth Chapter
- Former Fort Worth Chapter President and VP of  Professional Development


Sandy Schmidt, CBAP, PMP, CSM

Past Vice President Education

  Sandy Schmidt has held various business analysis, project management, and consulting roles within the IT sector for over 20 years. Currently, she is employed at SiriusXM. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Management from Pepperdine University and an MBA in Information Systems from California State University at Los Angeles. She has held the PMP certification since 2002 and obtain the CBAP certification in 2010. In addition, she holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.
