Rapport Building Secrets for Success

This presentation will address the concept of rapport through the lens of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). If you desire to have effective relationships with your business associates (and anyone else in your life), building rapport is crucial. You will learn several techniques for building rapport, whether in person or virtual, and even if the other party has their camera off.

Some of the things you will learn include:

  • What Neuro-Linguistic Programming is and how can It help you.
  • What exactly is rapport and why it is so important.
  • The role of pacing in building rapport.
  • Three things that can contribute to miscommunication and lessen rapport.
  • The types of rapport.
  • Six steps to effective rapport building.
  • A better understanding of Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic individuals and how to communicate effectively with each type.

Speaker Bio:
 
Sandy is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner and Master Practitioner. She studied under one of the founders of NLP, Dr. Richard Bandler. She also completed an advanced course in the Art and Skill of Training and Presenting with NLP.
She has been employed in the Information Technology field for over 25 years and has been a Scrum Master for the last seven and a half years. Currently, she is employed at HCSC in Richardson, TX. She holds 16 professional certifications.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Sandy moved to Los Angeles, California during high school. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University and an MBA from California State University, Los Angeles. She moved to the Dallas area with a former employer and has resided there ever since.
